Delete Your Account

How to request deletion of your Cleariest account and associated data.

At Cleariest, we respect your right to control your data. If you'd like to delete your account, follow the steps below. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to Request Account Deletion

  1. Open the Cleariest app — go to app.cleariest.com or open the Cleariest mobile app and sign in to your account.
  2. Open Settings — click your profile avatar in the bottom-left corner, then select Settings.
  3. Navigate to Account — in the Settings panel, select the Account tab.
  4. Delete your account — scroll to the Danger Zone section and click "Delete Account". You will be asked to confirm.
  5. Confirm deletion — type your email address to confirm, then click "Permanently Delete Account".

Alternative: If you're unable to access your account, you can request deletion by emailing [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days.

What Data Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

Authentication credentials Deleted Immediate
Direct messages Deleted Immediate
Uploaded files & attachments Deleted Within 30 days
Workspace memberships Deleted Immediate
Reactions & read receipts Deleted Immediate
Channel messages you authored Anonymized Content retained, attributed to "Deleted User"
Payment & billing records Retained Up to 7 years (legal/tax requirement)
Aggregated analytics (non-personal) Retained Indefinitely (cannot identify you)
